Devil’s Lake is a 221-acre lake located between Lakes Chippewa and Little Chippewa.  Devil’s Lake provides year-round fishing and abundant natural resources. Devil’s Lake is well stocked with Large Mouth Bass, Bluegills, Walleyes and Northern Pikes. Water clarity is an excellent at over 7 feet and has a maximum depth of 25 feet.

Natural Resources - Devil's Lake


Devil’s Lake has abundant natural resources and the amenities to enjoy them.  Public access is located on the North side of the lake just off Devil’s Lake Road. Fishing is plentiful on Devil's Lake; Large Mouth Bass, Bluegill, Northern Pike and Walleye are in abundance.

Lovely Chippewa Park is located on the West side of Devil’s Lake on a 37-acre isthmus separating Devil’s Lake and Little Chippewa Lake. Chippewa Park is Douglas County’s only county park that supports camping. Park facilities include camping, picnic shelters, picnic tables, charcoal grills, showers and restrooms, drinking water, electricity, fire rings, beach, playground, hiking, fishing, horseshoe courts and bike trail access.
